Dog Variety Meal & Treat Pack

After a bit of a food strike last year, we've tried numerous different options to get our elderly Chihuahua to eat again. Thank goodness we found Portland Pet Food's Hopkins' Pork N Potato! She loves the flavor & it is soft enough for an old lady that is down to about half of her teeth. Plus, her Dog Mom loves the subscription program, after finding her local stores were low or out of this popular flavor. Keeping weight on a 4lb dog at 17.5 years is harder than one would think, so we are thrilled she LOVES this food. Thank you, PPF Team!

I stumbled on this brand of food by chance at a truck stop (Jubitz in Portland). I was completely out of dog food and saw this in the store there. The ingredients looked good so I bought a couple pouches of the beef. My 9 pound shih tzu, who is a very picky eater, ate almost all 9 ounces! That's the most food she's ever eaten in one sitting. I was expecting to have 2 meals from 1 pouch lol.

I love that it doesn't have any added synthetic vitamins and gets all of the nutrients from the food. I don't care that it doesn't completely meet the AAFCO minimums. What makes them right? Then they force the makers to say on the package that it's not a complete meal, which is total rubbish. Any dog can live off this food much healthier than foods they call complete.

The 2 things I don't like about the food is they don't use any organic ingredients and they do use vegetable oil instead of something healthier like coconut oil. If it was only coconut oil I would order this food for my dog regularly. But I will still get it for her occasionally that's for sure. She loved it!!

Picked this up as a topper for my dog, and this Beef N’ Rice was my first experience with Portland Pet Foods product. I read the instructions and heated it up, and when I fully opened up the packet, my nose was punched by a mouth-watering aroma of savory beefy goodness 🤤 I was almost tempted to try a bite myself to see what kind of flavors my pup was about to enjoy! But my dog looked at me with confused eyes and I understood what he was trying to tell me. He says “I’m always hungry for your human foods and now you know what it feels like, so you better not dude or else” so I put the Beef n Rice in his bowl, about half of it and mixed it with some of his current food. He didn’t leave a single crumb. He licked his bowl clean! Clearly, we both like this particular flavor packet. I got one of each flavor and I am going to be trying the Turkey and Yams flavor next. For my dog, I mean.
