Our senior Dachshund has IBD and must be on a single-protein diet. She's a picky eater, and gets tired of kibble easily, but she absolutely loves this food as a topper. It can be tricky to find a food that doesn't upset her stomach with the IBD, but this keeps her stool nice and firm which is extra appreciated since she's also paralyzed and wears a diaper. We've tried some other fresh foods, and I like that these pouches are easy to store and use when needed, and don't take up a ton of space in the fridge or freezer.
my humans had been torturing me with all the delicious smells of their good food, and then feeding me the rock hard, brown pellets, that looked like rabbit turd. why would they feed me that?!? i gave them endless, unconditional, big, st bernard, heavy luv. well, FINALLY. they started feeding me the portland pet food, and i can tell you, it is the BOMB. i have tried every flavor-ALL DAMN GOOD. the biscuits are great, i need more. please. i've rewarded my humans with firm doo doos. trust me, that's like the jackpot for dog owners. treat me right, i'll treat you right.
My two granddoggers loved this! One dog, Kit (10 month deaf cattle dog) loves fish so this was a real hit. Tag, (13 year old dachshund), gobbled it down. Kit has a very sensitive stomach and after several months figured out she can't tolerate chicken. Kit has it as a topper & Tag had it as a meal. Will definitely order this again
