A high-quality protein providing antioxidants beneficial to the immune system, heart, brain, eyes, and coat. Salmon also contains the following: B vitamins help with circulation and utilization of fatty acids (for healthy skin), boost the metabolism to help overweight cats, fight anemia by producing red-blood cells. Niacin - an essential dietary requirement for cats - supports healthy energy production, blood circulation, and hormone synthesis. Essential to the nervous system, it also lowers cholesterol and supports healthy skin. Selenium: a trace element occurring naturally in salmon, it supports a healthy immune system and antioxidant status, and may protect against cancer. Calcium and Phosphorous for teeth and bones and transfer of energy and muscle function. Sulfur for healthy skin, nails, and coat and to fight itchiness and allergies.
