Other Flavors Your Dog Might Also Like
My ole gal LOVES this stuff and she is super picky, as in walks right by the food and treats samples at pet stores. She hasn’t met a treat she likes in the past 12 years out of her 16 years that she’s been in this earth!
Excellent! Loved it!
Our picky pooch gobbles down his kibble with his toppers (Pork and Potato, Beef and Rice) so, we are very pleased that we found Portland Petfood Company! We wish there were a couple more meals that did not have any chicken related ingredients in them since our lil' guy has a chicken allergy. Thank you so much for this high quality product(s).
The Pork is my four (large) dogs very favorite flavor - with Salmon as a very close second! But they love them all! I manage to share the one bag between the four of them and mix with their healthy kibble. They go absolutely crazy when they see me open that bag and smell the yummyness!!
My dogs love these toppers!! They've tried all the flavors... I'm not sure they have a favorite. We originally started using these products when our youngest dog was a puppy. She was very thin so we needed to get her to a healthy weight. At the time, we used the food as a way to encourage her to eat more. Now, she's doing great - a couple years later... still enjoying her PPFC as a topper - as is our older dog. Since we use it as a topper, one bag lasts several meals even for two dogs. :) I joke with my husband that the food smells so good that if the apocalypse comes... and who knows in 2020... that we could eat this food too.
I adopted my pup during covid. She was returned a few times, and has kind of a mystery past. As a result, when I first adopted her, she would scarf her food down so quickly that she would throw up. I got her a slow feeder, and things were fine. But after a few months of living with me, I guess she realized she was safe, and didnt need to inhale her food anymore. So then she started doing the opposite thing, where she would just pick at her food. I tried mixing treats in, adding rice, etc, and she just picked out all the good stuff and left her kibble. I found the pork and potato recipe and tried mixing into her food, and she finally began to eat again! And since it's thoroughly mixed in, she can't pick out her kibbles. Im very happy she's eating again, and she seems to love it. I bought a few other flavors, so now I'll have to see which she likes best.
My maltipoo with a sensitive stomach is thriving. Loves the food and feeling great! Highly recommend, and beats making food for the pup!
I adopted a dog 5 months ago. At first she was a voracious eater, to the point that I had to get her a slow feeding bowl so she wouldn't throw up after every meal. Then about 6 weeks ago, she stopped eating. Maybe she realized that she was staying with me for good (she was returned twice before I got her), and she finally felt comfortable about her food. I tried changing her kibble to another company, and she wouldn't really eat that one either. It would take her a few days to eat her kibbles. It took 4 months to have her gain 2 lbs, so I was worried she would lose all that weight again. I bought a bag of the pork and potato meal last week to mix into her food, and since then she's been happily eating her food again.
My 15 year old little dog loves his pork n potatoes. I use it as a full meal for him. His coat is much shiner and he is very robust. His blood tests are great and I love that they source their ingredients only in the USA. Can't wait to try the treats.
