At Portland Pet Food Company, from start to finish, our dog food toppers are made in the USA, with locally sourced ingredients, most of which come from the Pacific Northwest. We have long-standing relationships with many of our suppliers, and we know exactly what’s going into all of our products.

The same can’t necessarily be said about other brands of dog food that are marketed toward picky eater dogs. While many popular brands of dog food might be made in the USA, they often include vitamin pre-mixes that are made abroad. These vitamin packs have been the subject of recalls in recent years, because the mixes contained toxic levels of certain vitamins.

We never include vitamin pre-mixes, or any additives or preservatives, for that matter. No synthetics, byproducts, or rendered foods, either.
