#1 A Dog's Purpose
Over the course of several lifetimes and owners, a dog discovers his purpose in life!
“A Dog's Purpose is an awesome movie about a dog's love for its human. The movie literally portrays so many different ways that dogs are treated. A Dog's Purpose did an amazing job at building up raw emotion in a short amount of time. Very similar to the way we felt in Marley and Me.” - Jordan
#2 Isle of Dogs
Set in Japan, Isle of Dogs follows a boy's odyssey in search of his lost dog.
“It's a very quirky film with an all too relatable story. I enjoyed the visuals more than the plot, I'll admit, but it was still a good movie, with the usual quick dialogues, jokes, strange characters - Tilda Swinton being the weirdest, no surprise there - and altogether it's a great experience.” -Luca
#3 Best in Show
A colorful array of characters compete at a national dog show.
“This is the funniest movie I have ever seen. This is because Best In Show brilliance lies not in slapstick or one-liners, but in sophisticated and layered verbal wit. The improvised dialogue is is so quick that you end up laughing not at each individual joke, but only until after several jokes build on one another, each disarming your senses until the jokes climax and you can't help letting loose.” - Hank
#4 The Secret Life of Pets - PG 2016 ‧ Adventure/Comedy
The simple life of a terrier named Max is upended when his owner takes in Duke, a stray whom Max instantly dislikes.
“This movie took me off guard and laughed so much at the roles the characters had. It was such an adorable movie. Even though it was a kids movie, it had clues here and there about things adults would do and even say. Which made it even funnier! I couldn't give a bad review on this because I genuinely had a great time watching it. I definitely recommend it to anyone, including kids and adults as well.” -IMDB
#5 One Hundred and One Dalmatians
When a litter of Dalmatian puppies are abducted by the Cruella de Vil’s minions, the parents must find them before she uses them for as a diabolical fashion statement.
“If there's any classic Disney movie that's less likely to be forgotten because of the modern Disney movies, this would be one of them. This movie is just so charming. Cruella De Vil is one of the more memorable Disney villains ever made. Romance abounds in this movie, and don't forget those adorable puppies. This may not have the animation or the big fancy songs of the moderns, but all that fanciness usually distracts from the story. Classic Disney always rocks, and this is no exception.” - Pamela
