Wally’s Salmon N’ Rice Named Wet Dog Food Product Of The Year
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PORTLAND, Ore. (November 19, 2020) – Portland Pet Food Company (PPFC), a manufacturer of human-grade meals and treats for dogs, has been recognized by Pet Independent Innovation Awards in the category of Wet Dog Food Product of the Year for its Wally’s Salmon N’ Rice Homestyle Dog Meal. Pet Independent Innovation Awards received over 2,000 nominations this year from companies around the world.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized alongside other innovative companies in the pet industry,” said founder Katie McCarron. “We’re especially excited that Wally’s was selected as this year’s wet dog food product of the year, as it was just launched in May and is a great representation of our company’s values: sustainably, wild-caught salmon caught locally from the Northwest.”
Wally’s Salmon N’ Rice Homestyle Dog Meal is a grain- and gluten-free product that consists of 10 simple ingredients: salmon, carrots, peas, brown rice, spinach, eggs, vegetable oil, potato flour, eggshells and sea salt. It is intended to be used as a kibble topper, mixer or rotational meal. Like all of PPFC’s products, the ingredients are sourced exclusively from partners in the U.S. and are free from any preservatives, additives or meat by-products.
The mission of the Pet Independent Innovation Awards is to honor innovation and recognize the excellence, hard work and success in a range of pet care industry categories. Winners are selected by senior-level marketing and pet industry professionals.
